Eve, I believe we were all created to be something and do something. Life therefore, is the journey of finding out the what, how and why.
Weirdly enough I tend to think Christian beliefs make me lazy in my pursuit to reach or find my purpose. Because I know God made me in His own image with a plan he set aside when I was still in my mothers womb.
It is easy for me to seat back and procrastinate knowing fully well that God will order my steps. and lead me back on the right direction if i make a mistake. *Psalm 23*
Isn't that crazy though?!
If I shared this thought with my mentor, she would probably tell me to go and meditate on these passages;
Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you: A prophet to the nations— that’s what I had in mind for you.
- Jeremiah 1:5MSG
A lazy person is as bad as someone who destroys things.- Proverbs 18:9 NLT
Because Yo!!! Even Jesus though he had a purpose, a goal; a preordained destiny to save the world. This dude, worked his ass off. If he was lazy and laid back he wouldn't have bothered going to get baptised by John, or heading to the wilderness. Or preparing his spirit so he could withstand the devil's temptations.
It is very easy to be lazy, but being productive even if it is the smallest effort goes a long way.
So again, what you are looking for in Sokoto is in your shokoto.
The fame, success and glory I yearn for, honestly starts with what I use the penny in shokoto for.
Because all I have is all I need.
