Day 2 of gratitude, grace and fear

There is something about going to meet You, Abaa

It's my life's journey

Uhambo!

The longing for Your presence

The depths, the heights, the trek to worship with You

To spend time with You

To only finally be satisfied when I am with You

I want to take You with me everywhere

To desire & hope to have You always

A having of You that is not for show or performance

but rather for the simple joy of just being with You

Being with You, just being with You

Not because I need You or for me to uphold my reputation of knowing You

But to actually delight in our intimacy

An intimacy that only we understand

A language of our own

A passion so fiery that only we can set it ablaze or cool down

Even when we makeup, the thought of losing You hurts and my heart breaks

Psalm 63:1 - God—you’re my God!

I can’t get enough of you!

I’ve worked up such hunger and thirst for God,

traveling across dry and weary deserts.

The Ownership of knowing You are mine. Mine and mine alone

The satisfaction of knowing I get to share You with no one else

The possessive awareness of a lover, a jealous lover

The almost barbaric desperation to protect what is mine

Is that crazy?

Can I love You like that?

Because You are also My Lord, My King, My Sovereign

Why do those words make You seem distant?

Aren't I the Daughter of a King?

The King!

Know who you are and who's you are

What your adoption represents?

You are a son of God, thereby also a god

Learn who you are
